Music Movies Monday #11

I know, it's been a while for MMM. But it's making a comeback. To celebrate such a long a break, here's a few nostalgic videos from a few years ago, and some from a bit longer.

I wish I was alive to see a Joy Division performance. They don't make 'em like this anymore.

This isn't that old ('92), but it continues the 'great band on late night' motif set with Radiohead a few posts ago. For the record, THIS is how you make a network television debut. With a bat!

Finally, another more recent one. It seems a lot longer though, considering Franky has put on quite a few since this.

Ok, that about does it. Look for MMM next week, when it will hopefully actually be on a Monday.

I want this to be a secret message to you, Chandler, but I'm unable to finagle that right now (or ever, perhaps), so maybe once you read this you can delete it, or something.

Next MMM you should share the video of Antony singing If It Be Your Will during a Leonard Cohen tribute concert. It's my favorite video EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it's on youtube. I'm not putting the link. yes I am. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MDlMdu2gjw

Also, the guitar or something in the Sonic Youth video sounds like teenage girls screaming in the audience. exciting! I wonder what the real audience was like. were they rocking out or dull as I expect? at least the band's having a REALLY good time. (the guy jumping around in the background after they've finished)
