New Fleet Foxes!

Robin Pecknold, lead singer of Fleet Foxes, occasionally uses a MySpace page called White Antelope as a place to post acoustic covers. He recently added two new songs to the page, called "Silver Dagger," and "Wild Mountain Thyme." Who knows whether or not these will end up on a new Fleet Foxes release or not, either way they soothe to the max.

Silver Dagger is so pretty. I could listen to these songs forever.
it's not all Robin singing, though, is it?
I love him. I want to be the band photographer. I want to be in the band but not mess up the integrity of the group by being a girl.
When is the new album coming out, Chris?

Its definitely good ol' Robin Peck. Unless you were kidding, but i couldnt tell. The album hasnt really been talked about seriously by the band, but a few members (especially Robin) have said that they are going to record in 09, hopefully with a new full album. Needless to say, Im itchin' in my britches for some new material.

I know for sure Silver Dagger is a cover... I think Wild Mountain Thyme is too. I don't the fellas will put covers on the album. Nevertheless Robin does a great job covering those songs.
