Don't Blame Pop Music

Although at fork/knife we tend to favor indie and electronic acts, (look at our ballin' new banners!) we can always make some room for some pop music, even in small doses. The Bird and the Bee are the segment of this post, an electronic pop duo from Los Angeles. Although I knew of their existence, I was introduced to them through a performance on The Tonight Show. This song has a few hooks, and sometimes that's enough for me. The duo released a new album, Ray Guns Are Not Just the Future, and you should go buy it to stimulate the currently suffering economy.
