This song is one of my favorites from 2008. The band is Hot Chip, the album is Made In the Dark, the song is called "Ready For the Floor." Hot Chip is a band that is starting to get some attention as an electronic and dance type band, that uses traditional song structure re-vamped with some electronic soul. "Ready For the Floor" highlights all the band's strengths, as a song with strong lyrics, a catchy beat, and a wonderful sparkly sheen. They are making some of the cleanest and most unique music in the world of electronic music. I hope you enjoy Hot Chip.
