I suppose a big 'Congratulations!' is in store for Kid Cudi for tarnishing one of the most blissfully divine songs of the 21st century. Keep going, man!
I'm reminded of the T.S. Eliot quote, ""Immature poets imitate; mature poets steal; bad poets deface what they take, and good poets make it into something better, or at least something different." I think we can all learn a lesson from that.
i'm with the hogester on this one...if it doesn't add anything but new vocals it's just because any other instrumentation would have ruined the original masterpiece by Murphy. Instead Kid Cudi just added vocals that he's accustomed to singing.
check out diplos bootleg of justin timberlakes my love, me thinks kid cudi got the idea to do this from there, fair play all three tracks are amazing!!
Everyone here at fork/knife absolutely loves music, and we hope that you do too. If there's a particular artist that you're liking, then we recommend you support them and go buy their music and/or go see them in concert.
