Iron & Wine New Album/All-Request Tour Dates

Iron & Wine, aka the musical masterpiece driven by bearded hero Sam Beam, has recently announced that they will release Around The Well, a 2xCD/3xLP set, on March 19th via Sub Pop. The set will be a compilation of rarities and covers composed of both Beam's home recordings and full-band recordings. On the set will be previously released gems such as Beam's covers of the Postal Service's "Such Great Heights" and the Flaming Lips' "Waitin' For Superman."

In addition, the band will be going on a brief US tour of small venues, where they'll let the fans vote on the songs played on the band's website the night before. And, if you happen to miss one of the shows, no worries, because every show will be recorded and posted on the Played Last Night website.
